The Addax and Oryx Foundation is pleased to be providing funding to the Flying Kites Academy for a three-year project aiming to build literacy and bridge the digital divide for teachers and students in rural Kenya.

The Foundation is renewing its support to SURF (Survivors Fund) for an 18 month project, empowering vulnerable genocide widows in the Karongi and Rutsiro Districts, Rwanda, to alleviate extreme poverty.

The Foundation will be, once again, providing support to the Welbodi Partnership, for the final year of a three-year project in Sierra Leone. The project aims to improve the quality of care for children at the Ola During Children’s Hospital (ODCH) in Freetown.

The Foundation will be supporting the Women’s Global Education Program (WGEP), for the first time, for a four-year project. The project will provide adolescent high-school girls in rural Senegal with access to education and leadership skills, enabling them to become agents of change in their communities.
