The Addax and Oryx Foundation granted funding for two new projects at its December Board meeting.

The Swiss association TIM-SFV (Tiako-i-Madagasikara Suisse et France Voisine) will receive funding for a water chlorination project in Madagascar aiming to provide clean drinking water to sixteen remote villages in the Amoton’ny Mania region, in order to reduce the incidence of water borne diseases.

The Haller Foundation, a British charity, will receive funding for a project in the Mwakitunge region of Kenya, aiming to enable two farming communities, living under the government radar screen and below the poverty line, to restore their soils, build capacity, achieve economic security and improve the environment.
