Three projects completed in Benin, Malawi and Syria

 

Three organisations submitted their final reports in April 2014, following the completion of projects funded by the Addax and Oryx Foundation.

 

Le Coeur de Nouricia successfully rehabilitated the Séméré village dam in Benin, meeting the water needs of the local population and subsequently improving the local economy, while contributing to the ecological balance of the region. (click here for more details)

 

Inter Aide enabled a substantial reduction in the infant mortality rate in the Chadza Region in Malawi through improved hygienic and health practices, coupled with more efficient and higher quality health services. (click here for more details)

 

The IECD improved the quality of technical support and the professional practices of nurses in two private and three public hospitals in the Syrian capital, Damascus, despite the difficult conditions prevailing in the country. (click here for more details)
