TIM-SFV (Madagascar) – Halfway through the project

During the second phase of the project, 2 training sessions took place in Andilamena and Moramanga. 1,000 families, thus approximately 6,000 people, took part in them. The following 3 modules were taught: water quality (pollution, illnesses, purification, water treatment and conservation of the drinking water), chlorine (characteristics and use of the chlorine, correct proportions and conservation and utilization methods) and the Watalys kit (product description, production of the solution, tests, use and distribution). Due to the success of these training sessions, a water committee will be established in both villages.
