GREF (Morocco) - Early childhood education & school libraries

Significant demand led 13 pre-school educators in 7 towns of Ouarzazate to attend the early childhood training session. This session was comprised of 60 hours of theory and 8 hours of practical coaching. Each kindergarten received a kit including, among others things, paper, chalk, scissors and awakening equipment. Among the 16 targeted sites, 14 libraries were created in rural areas. 17 teachers participated in a 60 hour training session and an additional 8 hours of practical exercises to learn how to develop and manage these libraries. Each site received books in French and Arabic adapted to the curriculum, as well as some school stationery.
